The Czech Association of Innovative Pharmaceutical Industry, under the auspices of the Czech Presidency of the Council of the EU, organizes a major face-to-face international conference on the topic of Pharmaceutical strategy for Europe.

Goals and Topics

The goal of the conference is to provide a comprehensive view of the preparation of the new pharmaceutical legislation and the revision of the current one, including the vision of the Czech Presidency and the commitment of the industry. During the event, EU and national policymakers, patient representatives, and industry will debate on:

  • New Pharmaceutical Legislation for the EU: Vision for Future Development
  • Position of the Czech Presidency as regards the Development of New Pharmaceutical Legislation
  • European Medicine Agency and its Future Role
  • Role of Innovative Industry in the Process Leading to New Pharmaceutical Legislation
  • Innovative Approaches to the Evaluation of New Technologies
  • European Health Data Space and its Importance for Providing New Technologies to EU Patients

Attendees

The conference will be attended mainly by representatives of Czech and EU authorities working in the field of health and pharmacy (including the Ministry of Health of the Czech Republic and the European Commission and the State Institute for Drug Control), patient organizations, local and European innovative pharmaceutical industry, healthcare professionals and other partners.

The event follows the June international conference "Pharmaceutical Strategy for the EU" held under the auspices of the Chairman of the Committee on Health of the Senate of the Parliament of the Czech Republic in professional cooperation with the Czech Association of Innovative Pharmaceutical.

Farmaceutická strategie pro Evropu – implementace, úspěchy, výzvy

Asociace inovativního farmaceutického průmyslu pořádá mezinárodní konferenci pod záštitou českého předsednictví v Radě EU. Tématem setkání odborníků budou kroky vycházející z Farmaceutické strategie pro Evropu.

Cíle a témata

Cílem konference je poskytnout ucelený pohled na přípravu nové farmaceutické legislativy a revizi stávajících předpisů, včetně vize českého předsednictví a závazku průmyslu. V rámci diskuse se zaměříme zejména na následující témata:

  • Nová farmaceutická legislativa EU: Vize budoucího vývoje
  • Postoj českého předsednictví k vývoji nové farmaceutické legislativě
  • Evropská agentura pro léčivé přípravky a její budoucí role
  • Role inovativního průmyslu v procesu vedoucím k nové farmaceutické legislativě
  • Inovativní přístupy k hodnocení nových technologií
  • Evropský prostor pro data z oblasti veřejného zdraví a jeho význam pro poskytování nových technologií pacientům v EU

Účastníci

Konference se zúčastní zejména zástupci českých a unijních úřadů působících v oblasti zdraví a farmacie (mj. Ministerstva zdravotnictví ČR a Evropské komise a Státního ústavu pro kontrolu léčiv), pacientských organizací, lokálního i evropského inovativního farmaceutického průmyslu, zdravotničtí pracovníci a další partneři.
